Two cultural forces, Milk Makeup and fashion brand Awake NY have linked up to bring out the ultimate drop encompassed of three personal care essentials everyone should have on them — but especially those who brave the streets of New York City.
Inspired by Awake NY’s founder Angelo Baque‘s NYC upbringing, the collab was built on the spirit of maximum utility and self-care. The “NYC Summer Survival Kit” Baque calls it features a hand cream, body butter and lip balm. Each has 90% natural, seriously skin-loving ingredients to elevate these bodega-esque basics. “New York is synonymous with both Awake NY and Milk Makeup. Angelo and I both have a shared love for New York City,” says Milk Makeup’s cofounder Madzack Rassi. “The products we chose are NYC essentials, something people need and use daily. We have all endured so much over the past few years, which is why we wanted to celebrate health and wellness in our city with our people.”
